Demetrios Jameson (Oregon 1919-1996) was an American artist working in the Pacific Northwest in the mid to late 20th century. Jameson is known for abstracted landscapes like this painting, which shows the influence of German expressionist Max Beckmann, with whom Jameson studied with.
