Wonderful early American modernist landscape oil painting by Arnold Blanch.
Arnold Blanch (1896-1968) was a well known painter, teacher and lecturer. He lived in Minnesota, New York and California. Blanch worked in a playful social realist style at a time when many important American artist were focus on the cutting edge and abstraction.
This work is an early modernist work, dating from 1921. It is signed and dated lower left, and stamp with an estate stamp verso. It is unframed and in excellent condition.
